The idea of focussing on one flower and creating a smooth bokeh may not be new but there is something about your picture that made me come back to it several times.

I really like how you lead the viewers eye through the picture - first my eye is drawn to the blossom, then down the stalk and along the "line of light" back into the image, to your (very nice and inconspicuous) signature and up to the flower again.

When I look at the picture I immediately calm down, it's such a peaceful scene. One may criticise the (nearly) overexposed right side of the flower but for me it just fits into the image.

The only thing I'm not quite sure about is the frame of the image. I see that you want to highlight the flower but for me this crop is a little bit "too much". For me there is too little space for the flower and I would have chosen landscape format. I believe it would underline the focus if there would be more space to the right (and a little less on the top and bottom), but thats just my personal opinion.

On the whole I really like this image. I think it would look pretty good as a large scale print on a wall.
