I love how this work embraces both simplicity and complexity in the same image.

The color palette forms a great diagonal from darks in the lower left to brights in the upper right, while the focus and depth of field travels in a counter-diagonal from lower right to upper left. These combinations draw the right into the work.

The foreground detail is exquisitely delicate, and I love how it is mirrored by the mid-ground element which is deeper in the depth of field. You can almost "hear" the visual as it softly echoes into the background.
